My favorite activity was when we worked together in a group, for a project  which was about Lord of the Flies what we would do when we get stuck in an island. My favorite least was Blogs, the topics that we have to type about are kinda hard to think of what to type. Well on Lord of the flies activity which we had to survive in an island taught me a little on how to keep a group safe and calm while we wait for a plane or boat, or how to survive by eating an amount of food and how to fish while there sharks in the ocean. Well I didn’t expect to learn about surviving on an island. What i really wanted to learn that we didn’t cover? pretty much everything was actually taught. What really prepared me for TAKS was the use of words and misspellings when we did those warm ups that had like paragraphs of missed spelled words which we had to fix. What has me prepared for next years English class is actually getting to type an essay or a page of pretty much anything on the computer. My favorite book was “Lord of the Flies” and “Ender’s Game” I liked Ender’s Game because it was a game which you needed skills to actually survive in this game that is fought in a battle room.  I like how this was kinda almost all located in space. What i liked about Lord of the Flies was that this book was an adventure one. I really like adventure books they have point on wants going on and what they have to do to get to the end.

Ender and Gene are both dealing with trouble, Ender is trying to ignore the teachers which is giving him trouble cause they basically have like a set of schedule that knows who’s going to win, because they have it all planned with teams. Gene Problem is when his going diving with his friend there climbing a tree to jump of from that is used for army training im guessing. Well when they are climbing Gene has a mean look which his mad cause he didn’t let me him study for a test he had in class. Well when Gene’s friend goes first he tries to balance on a tree branch and Gene looks at him and starts to wobble the tree branch to cause his friend  to fall. Later when Gene’s friend was at the hospital and Gene asked him what happened back there, and he tried to remember but all he can remember is him falling out of balance. So Gene was kinda happy he didn’t remember, but now his kinda pissed of, from what he did. Gene’s friend can’t swim run or anything that would cause to get him a Sport achievement. Thats why i relate Gene to Ender because there both leading to trouble. They are different from what location everything is at, Gene is at Earth at school, Ender is located out of space, and some on earth but not at a school. Well there both in school but there schools are different Gene goes to school to learn, Ender goes to battle agains teams fighting with weapons which is called Battle school.  -265 words-

Ender’s Game Blog #1

Well if peter hates Ender then he wouldn’t really care about what happens to Ender if he dies or anything. Valentine would worry about him because Ender cares about her so she would as well. Yes i do have siblings, i have a positive relationship with them. I sometimes have a negative side because they sometimes get me mad, but im still positive with them when im not mad. Well i wouldn’t really want to change my relationship with my siblings, we are a family so why go negative if we can be happy when we are all positive. I have friends that i would change relation ships with, i have a friend that kinda gets me on going to the negative side because of what that person has talked about, that person always has to say something about me that is not true which they want to start a rumour. So i would really like to change the relationship to a positive so he could be like,” his happy he don’t care”, and make him give up. So basically I don’t want to start anything i just really want it to stop, so that’s my idea of using positive and negative on that person.

Julius Caesar Blog #2

Superstition is like a belief or a tale passed by person to person im guessing. Well i know alot but the ones i can think of  right now on my head is the big foot one. or the one with. The superstition i believe in is about demons and ghost, Well i do think there is truth about them but the thing is would people believe the truth? The thing is to believe you have to see it not just see some ones recording of capturing one. People think there not true, its just illusions or something is causing that to happend.  Well i did followed a superstition at my at my aunts house, her house was kinda haunted, a soldier used to live there. Well i just found that superstition means something dealing with bad luck such as, a black cat crossing infront of you pretty much people say its bad luck for a certain time. I heard, not wearing green for St. Patricks day is bad luck, some how you get bad luck but its if you believe in it. The superstition i believe in is the black cat crossing in front of you, i think its kinda awkward crossing one infront of you, i remember that happening to me but i didnt really paid attention to it cause of the superstition.

Julius Caesar Blog #1

What a tyrant is, is a cruel and oppressive dictator, such as Julius Caesar or Saddam Hussein. Saddam Hussein ended the life of one of the most brutal tyrants in recent history. Monarchy is When a place is ruled by a king or queen with pretty much supreme power. Note that if the ruler is a good person, this will be fine. But if he/she is not, the they are considered a tyrant. Tyrant is the ruler that has all the power terrorizing people to follow him. This is a bit more specific. think of a dictatorship (Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, etc) and you should have no problem knowing the difference. Tyrants make good leaders but they take it too a new whole other level, they try to do things very aggressive. America should not have a tyrant, would make the US a very bad state and would be lots of trouble. Such as not not following the laws, so they would have more violence and extra laws to keep it strict.

A Separate Peace Blog #1

I’ve never been jealous of a friend, but ive had a friend who was jealous of some one else. She was jealous of her friend that she took her ex boyfriend. Well what i did was, i talked to her and told her to move on, don’t need to be jealous. Jealousy just makes people worry more, and worrying more means not paying attention the other stuff that’s going on such as school, or home.Well when i talked to her she agreed to stop, later she came and said it again, that she feels jealous. So what i told her was, go out with some else that would help you forget about him. So she did, Our friendship did survive. The friendship survived because it wasn’t dealing with me and her, it was with some one else. The advice i would give is too, not paying attention to jealousy. If you can’t stop from being jealous then, try doing something that makes you happy. Happy things make you forget of things, which that helps out with your jealousy problem. -words 177-

Holiday Blog

My favorite holiday is Christmas because we get to give out and receive presents, then we sometimes make parties or we go visit families. Thats why Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have two favorite holiday memories, when i went trick or treating at age five. We had a blast because we went to Austin, Texas to visit families and at the same time that we were there it was Halloween so we went trick or treating. What was cool was how all the houses were decorated, When we went out for candy, we received lots of candies. When we got home we pretty much checked, if they were opened. Then now in 2010 we went to a haunted house and was awsome, we were four guys including me. When we got inside we kinda felt weird we saw lots of dark rooms then when we came out of it, we wanted to go again, but it was not worth it because we knew what was going to happend. Well for the break im forward going to decorate our christmas tree, pretty much have a fun time for christmas. For Nea Years we are going to gather up and have a big party, celebrating the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011. The holiday i like better is New Years because of the parties and how we all gather up and have a fun time.

Day 7 – Island Journal #6

I feel glad that we see a ship coming and were going to get rescued. Now we get too see our families, go to school and live again. My favorite part was when we had to hunt to eat, because we actualy had fun running around and killing. After that we get to gather around the fire, eat and tell stories. My other favorite part is when we had to sleep there. When it rained it kinda suck sleeping on floor but when it was dry and windy it was kinda good with warm weather, and hearing the animals from the jungle, ocean and people snore.

Day 6 – Island Journal #5

We actually don’t know if it could be bigfoot or a Monkey, but if it’s a big monster then we wont know what it is till we find out what it is. The only way we are going to know what it is, is if we go and check it out our self, but first we need to get ready for what ever it is, because we don’t want to get any bite from any animal out there or a scratch or we get sick, then that sickness could probably could be passed to somebody else and that’s when we start suffering. We going to need bate to lead the monster to us, while thats happening we are preparing weapons like spears to kill the monster when it comes out. If our plan doesnt work we are going to have to go in and search for it. Our searching plan is too have one person in every side so we wont get our backs attacked. We are going to have to have hole traps where we make a hole and cover it up with our mosquito net and put leafs on top so it wont look so suspicious. Well i dont know if the monsters smart enough.

Day 5 – Island Journal #4

We will have to divide it even if  they don’t feel like it, because we are here to work together and try to keep every one alive till we get rescue. Yes every one will get an equal share because im going to make sure they do, if they arent going to share than their going to have to walk of and work alone with out us because we can’t have this here we work as a group. I know how it feels to do the work and the other group not getting anything and we did, feels like you did all the work for them, we just got to deal with it for now. Fixing the situation is too just deal with it and keep working till we get rescued and yes we wiull have breaks too depending if there is going to be time to have a break, because things can go wrong on the island like some one getting killed or we find something good. If both groups dont catch anything we just need to find fruits on trees if we cant find anything were going to have to wait for like an hour to go hunting again for pigs or fish. If we do catch pigs were going to have to cook it right, because i heard about that if anything thats pig and its not cooked right we can get a virus and cause to die. -word count 243-
